Walking into Comic Con at the CTICC feels like stepping into another universe. You might see two superheroes battling it out in one corner, a person painted blue having a deep conversation with someone, and Wednesday Addams taking a selfie with Barbie in another corner. This might seem strange to an outsider, but to pop culture fans, this is a celebration of all that we love.
I have been attending Comic Con annually since its first inception as FanCon at the Waterfront. Every year, I have seen it grow exponentially until it has become the event of the season, so much so that Saturday and Sunday were sold entirely out this year. The event ran from Saturday, 27 April, until Wednesday, 1 May, and even the days that were not weekends or public holidays were packed with fans and onlookers. It has become an event that fans don't want to miss out on.
But if you did miss out on it this year, we have the low down on what went on at the biggest pop culture event of the year.
